Skyland fanart. .:FULL VIEW:.

Dahlia seems strangely willing to die for her cause (though no doubt she won't), but I can't help thinking, 'What then? She'll be dead?' So I just felt like drawing that, I 'spose. Was originally going to be Cortes and Wayan with her, but then I thought that it was about time Mahad grew up, and realised this whole rebellion is about more than his mother, so despite liking Wayan more, Mahad got the job.

I'm fairly pleased with how this turned out. Certainly I've never done three people in three complex poses before. And I think Dahlia looks suitably skewed so that it's fairly evident she's not feeling anything.

The title is a reference to the desperation for water in Skyland, and my way of pointing out that (in a more realistic continuity, anyway) even if Dahlia DID die, a few tears'd most probably be the only water her sacrifice would produce.

It looks more like they're so desperate for water they've killed her and started to drink her blood. Although Mahad does look a tad concerned. :P

Mm... yum. I really like the textures you've got on their clothes. Mahad actually looks sufficiently concerned. If this was the show I would be shouting at the screen "Yes, you silly twat! People CAN die when you're like fighting!" Due to the crappyness of the human CGI I think you've actually got his facial expression better than the show would. >< Cortes is good. I see you've got his bits of his ponytail falling out. Yum. *achem* My only complaint is that Mahad looks like he's almost wringing Dahlia's head off... but aside from that is a really good piccy. :D

The tear idea is actually quite deep... I like the background, the colours look apocalyptic. I thought you didn't like Skyland...
